Not quite the same but about a year ago my folks dropped off my old lego collection. Most of it was completely disassembled so far here is some of what I put together.

That is the proper way to Lego.
I know a dude(he's in his mid 30's) that collects Star Wars and DC comic related Legos, but he just put the sets together than puts them on a shelf. Makes me sick. lol.

All my LEGO went to my nephew a long time back, but now that he's in college, it's coming back to my kids. Love it.
